Helical Piling

A Helical pile is used for the foundation of many structures, and has a screw-like lower end for drilling through and taking firm hold in compacted material. Helical piles are an easy and instant foundation solution, which can be as easily removed as they are installed making it a re-useable foundation. Piling advantages are: quick installation, custom designs, remote access capabilities, no concrete curing times which make them instantly load ready.

Used in virtually all soil conditions, helical pilings are used for stabilizing foundations and slabs built on suspect soil. With the use of screw piles and steel shafts, helical piles are screwed into the ground with hydraulic torque motors. Being very friendly in areas of tight quarters, helical pilings are also used for tieback anchoring, deadman anchoring and seismic protection.
